   Hi Trish

   Is there anyway since there seems to be such a large balance in the PTA account, that the PTA can replenish items for the kids for recess. At the end of last year the prior PTA purchased basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, jump ropes, etc. and for some reason a fair amount of these items are gone and the kids have little to play with unless they bring something from home.

   I love Judy’s idea. I would also be happy to donate some balls and jump ropes to the cause.

   On a similar note, I noticed they still have not planted anything in the lovely planters in the school yard. I can volunteer some of my time to plant flowers/plants. Ia m sure there are some classes who would enjoy planting something in honor of Earth Day. Is that still possible?

   I also love Judy’s idea! Maybe we could also get stuff for them to play with on the stage. Like puppets and props? What else could be used on the stage? They could be taken out at the start of recess maybe?
